Hey there, everyone!
My full username is Withersoul 235, but please, just call me Wither (Drop the soul part too). I am one of the three new administrators appointed by our bureaucrat, @Dreadzone3030 -- who essentially leads the wiki -- along with @CloningYoshi and @Sonicthehedgehog105. Dreadzone is quite busy in his personal life and furthermore has difficulties adapting to Fandom's UCP update. With this in mind, it became increasingly difficult for him to run the wiki on his own, and so the three of us were brought in to help him maintain the site.
We've got some fresh ideas for the WarioWiki, which will be implemented over the course of the following week that will ensue:
A mass cleanup and expansion of the whole site. Several of the pages in the wiki are short, messy and / or contain spam or false information. We'll seek to change this by fleshing out the pages, filtering out all bad-faith edits and hurling bans at troublemakers -- including the ones contributing to the spam and vandalism in the first place.
A new design. Thanks to @Godofmemez (Now a musician called Potted Plant; he hasn't used his Fandom account in a while so he probably won't see this), we have an unique background to call our own. A background which I complemented with new colours, a new font, and a huge design based on CSS code developed by myself. I did my best to ensure it's not too bright, obtrusive or flashy, but if it's nonetheless unpleasing to look at, just let me know and I'll adapt it to the community's needs.
A Discord server. I have set up a Discord server for the wiki (Given the discontinuation of Fandom's own Chat) where all of us can come together to casually chat and discuss in real-time. The server is a work in progress and still needs the rules and info channels filled out, but I'll certainly get to that as soon as possible.
A Wario Fanon Wiki has been established and is jointly managed by @CloningYoshi and @Sonicthehedgehog105 (I might offer my services later, depending on circumstances). I'll connect the wikis tomorrow (Or whenever I have time, really) by establishing mutual links and essentially partnering the wikis (Into Affiliates). If you ever wanted to write your own Wario games or stories, here you can!
Other miscellaneous ideas like new JavaScript functionality, support for variables (I. e. Bind text, templates or anything else to a name in the editor and then clone that text / template / whatever by typing the name elsewhere), a revamped Rules & Guidelines page, a Manual of Style, a brand-new main page, community building, hosting special events and spreading word of the wiki. I also plan to talk to Dreadzone about potentially replacing Talk Pages with Message Walls if the community so desires.
If you guys have any questions, suggestions or reports for us, you know where to find us! Hope you have an amazing day -- and let's build this community together!
