Lulu is a character who first appeared in WarioWare Gold. Lulu is the self-proclaimed hero of Luxeville. She is skilled at archery and carries a water gun called the Hydrocannon-LX. After Wario stole Luxeville's golden pot, Lulu goes to the Wario Bowl to take down Wario. She appears in random parts of town after every few levels, often getting easily distracted right after training to defeat Wario. She appears in the conclusion cutscene of Young Cricket's stage. She also assists the player in the final level, Wario Deluxe, by interrupting Wario Deluxe's tampering with the hints halfway through the fight. And in Wario Interrupts, one of the Challenges, she can assist in removing Wario Deluxe's tricks once again by pressing her Hero Button.

WarioWare Gold[edit | edit source]

After Wario steals Luxeville's “Golden Pot”, Lulu comes to the Wario Bowl in Diamond City to take on Wario and take back the pot. After every second, sixth, and tenth level is beaten, a cutscene plays of Lulu preparing to take on Wario, only to get distracted immediately. She interacts with Young Cricket and Master Mantis and they are curious as to where she comes from. She also gets petrified when Young Cricket calls her a little girl for some reason.

She gets a major appearance in the final stage, Wario Deluxe, after Wario puts on the “Golden Pot” and starts tampering with the hints. This happens halfway through the stage when a cutscene plays where Lulu grabs onto Wario and tells the player directly that she'll handle him, while the player continues to play the microgames. After the final battle is over, Lulu shoots Wario in the face with her Hydrocannon-LX and he goes back to "normal".

Then she hints at the pot's actual mechanism by saying the people of her village have been holding it long enough. She reveals that the pot is a toilet and Wario just laughs it off, brushing off the fact that he was wearing a toilet on his head.

After returning to Luxeville, Pops (the village elder) reveals that they had already installed a new high-tech toilet, making Lulu's whole journey a waste of time. It leaves Lulu fallen on the ground grumbling angrily.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • She has an alarm clock like all the other playable characters, despite not being playable herself. Since she never made a microgame, her alarm clock borrows Wario's intro microgames. This also means she has a boombox animation.
  • Before the reveal of her name, a Famitsu article on WarioWare Gold calls Lulu onnanoko, which means "young girl". Onnanoko is also the name of a character in Wrecking Crew '98 who has a similar appearance to Lulu
  • Also, in the intro, Lulu Was Subtitled As, "Mysterious Girl".
