Mario Party 10 is a game for the Wii U. It is the tenth home console installment in the Mario Party series, and features many reused gameplay elements from its predecessor. The game features a standard Party Mode (similar in gameplay to the Party Mode from Mario Party 9), and a new mode called Bowser Party, in which one player controls Bowser using the GamePad, and exclusive minigames can be played. Mini Stars return in normal party, as well as vehicles in all modes. The game is also compatible with amiibo.
Gameplay
There are 3 modes you can play from, one is Amiibo Party, another is Bowser Party, Last is Mario Party. You can have additional Wii Controllers to add more to the party.
Bowser Party
For this mode, you need a Wii U Gamepad and 4 additional Wii Remotes, or CPUs. Bowser Jr will be popping in to help Bowser and will try to defeat the other players. Bowser has three types of modes, Angry, Really Angry, and Furious. Those modes will change if the players are far away from Bowser. If Bowser touches the players, Bowser will start his minigame. The Modes will help how intense the minigame will be.
Mario Party
Just do like any other Mario Party game there is. Play with anyone or play alone with CPUs.
Amiibo Party
You notice at the menu, you see the mode called “Amiibo Party”. You need an Amiibo to touch the Amiibo placement on your Wii U gamepad, this is the only way to unlock this mode. The terrain your Amiibo will be playing on will not be so big.
