Rudy the Clown (Originally known as A hidden figure (ナゾのぞう, Nazo no Zō, and described as a "Mysterious Monarch" in Nintendo Power) is the main antagonist and final boss in Wario Land 3. He is a giant clown-like creature with green skin, a big red nose, and detached floating hands. Throughout the game, Rudy (Then unseen) claims that he is ruler of the Music Box world, who has been sealed away. In reality, Rudy is a villain who tried to take over the world, and was sealed away by the inhabitants of the Music Box. When Wario frees him, Rudy attacks him so he can venture into Wario's world as well.
In his boss battle, he attacks Wario with his hands, attempting to grab or smash Wario. He is very powerful, and if he successfully grabs Wario, the player instantly gets a Game Over (Making Rudy the only enemy in the game who can kill Wario). Wario must avoid his hands and attack them, leaving them stunned on the floor. Wario must then grab the hands, and throw them at his face. After four hits, he is defeated and the inhabitants of the music box world are returned to normal. They then send Wario back to his own world, letting him keep all the treasure he had found.
Rudy would later reappear in Dr. Mario 64.
