Hellsing WikianimeThe Hellsing Organization, a secret branch of the British government, has long been battling supernatural threats to keep the people safe from creatures of the night. Its current leader, Sir Integra Hellsing, controls her own personal army to eliminate the undead beings, but even her highly trained soldiers pale in comparison to her most trusted vampire exterminator, Alucard, who is actually a powerful vampire himself. Along with Integra's mysterious butler and Alucard's new vampire minion, Seras Victoria, the Hellsing Organization must face not only regular ghouls and vampires, but a rivaling secret branch of the Vatican and an mysterious group of madmen spawned by a certain war over 50 years ago. The original Hellsing manga by Kouta Hirano ran 10 volumes, finishing in 2008. The Hellsing anime followed a different storyline, but with the same main characters. The dub ran in the United States from October 4, 2003 to December 27, 2003 on Starz!'s Encore Action cable channel. The Hellsing OVA started at 2006, once completed will features 10 Episodes and, unlike the anime, it follows the manga more closely.

X-Men Movies WikimoviesThe X-Men film series consists of superhero films based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The films star an ensemble cast, focusing on Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, who is drawn into the conflict between Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart & James McAvoy) and Magneto (Ian McKellen & Michael Fassbender), who have opposing views on humanity's relationship with mutants. Xavier believes humanity and mutants can coexist, but Magneto believes that mutants are destined to rule humanity. The films also developed subplots based on the comics' Weapon X and Dark Phoenix storylines. 20th Century Fox earned the film rights to the characters in 1994, and after numerous drafts, Bryan Singer was hired to direct X-Men (2000) and returned for X2 (2003). He left a potential third and fourth film to direct Superman Returns, leaving Brett Ratner to direct X-Men: The Last Stand (2006). Critics praised Singer's films for their dark, realistic tone, and subtexts dealing with discrimination and intolerance, but Ratner's film was met with mixed reviews. Nonetheless, each film outgrossed its predecessor, and Fox developed two separate prequel trilogies. The first focuses on the violent past of Wolverine and currently consists of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and the upcoming stand-alone sequel The Wolverine (2013). The second trilogy focuses on the origins of the two teams: the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants, launching with X-Men: First Class (2011) and set to continue with X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). The X-Men films contributed to a reemergence of superhero films in the 2000s.

Divergent WikibooksVeronica Roth is the 23-year-old author of Divergent (Katherine Tegen Books, May 2011). Raised in a Chicago suburb, Roth studied creative writing at Northwestern University and penned Divergent while completing her studies. Insurgent, the second book in The Divergent Trilogy, came out on May 1st. Roth has been, since then, spending her time at book signings, traveling, browsing Wikipedia in her pajamas, wearing shoes as little as possible, and eating bland cereal. Roth's advice to young writers: "Want something else more than success. Success is a lovely thing, but your desire to say something, your worth, and your identity shouldn’t rely on it, because it’s not guaranteed and it’s not permanent and it’s not sufficient. So work hard, fall in love with the writing—the characters, the story, the words, the themes—and make sure that you are who you are regardless of your life circumstances. That way, when the good things come, they don’t warp you, and when the bad things hit you, you don’t fall apart.

That '70s WikitvHi there and welcome to the world of That 70's Show - don't worry, It's a Wonderful Life. At That 70's Show, you have a bunch of crazy and awesome teenagers week after week putting themselves out there in the wide world of Point Place, an excellent crew that strives to make this show as accurate, funny and charming as an excellent show should be and one of the most brilliant Sitcom directors in the buisness - David Trainer. Set in 1976 and spanning 4 years (show time) and 8 years (real time), we watch Eric Forman (Topher Grace), a socially awkward teen with an obsession with Star Wars and a beautiful neighbour by the name of Donna Pinciotti (Laura Prepon). While 'getting the girl' Eric has to deal with his well intentioned but overbearing parents, Red Forman (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty Forman (Debra Jo Rupp). As he faces the next four years of his life stuck in the final years of high school, he has best friend and 'rebel' Steven Hyde (Danny Masterson) to convince him to do stupid stuff, although, a lot of stupid stuff has already been done by Michael Kelso (Ashton Kutcher). Kelso brings with him his annoying and shallow girlfriend, Jackie Burkhart (Mila Kunis) - head cheerleader, queen bee and rather dispises Eric and Hyde (at first, that is). The final chocolate chip to this cookie of crazy is Fez (Wilmer Valderrama), loveable, candy-crazy, girl-chasing Fez. The six of them spend their time in Eric's basement, watching TV, eating popsicles and generally being as laid back as a teen in the 70's can - but don't think that doesn't make it exciting! They take the journey through teen years into adult-hood from getting your first car to getting married! The road is bumpy and long, but they made it in the end... This show has brought families together, made them laugh and cry along with the characters they have grown to love, and we have all watched them grow up - the awkward way. On TV. Join with me, laugh with me. Laugh with them. That 70's Show.
