Eddsworld WikitvEddsworld is an animated comedy produced using Adobe Flash software, and shared on sites like YouTube and Newgrounds, as well as Eddsworld.co.uk, created by Edd Gould. It stars three main characters, Edd, Tom and Matt, all based on real-life friends and voiced by their real-life counterparts. Other minor characters make appearances in different animations, or may just be a guest star for one episode only. Previously, Tord was also a main character, however his real-life counterpart and voice actor left the group in 2008 after Moving Targets was released to pursue his ambitions individually, and so the character left on the screen at the beginning of the feature-length animation 25ft Under the Seat. Unfortunately after a six-year long battle with cancer, Edd Gould passed away on Sunday 25th March 2012. Edd left behind one half of a yet to be released animation, with the second half due to be an animation collab. Tom Ridgewell, the voice actor and real-life counterpart of Tom in the animations, explained the future of Eddsworld on a Vokle broadcast. Eddsworld Wiki is a wiki created to document the history of Eddsworld as a group, the individual characters of Eddsworld, and each animation that has been released under the 'Eddsworld' umbrella. It also provides a place for fans of the group to post blogs and share the latest updates from Eddsworld, and Edd, Tom and Matt individually. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann WikianimeGurren Lagann, known in Japan as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (天元突破グレンラガン, Tengen Toppa Guren Ragan, literally "Heaven-Piercing Gurren Lagann"), is a Japanese mecha anime television series animated by Gainax and co-produced by Aniplex and Konami. It ran for twenty-seven episodes on Japan's TV Tokyo between April 1, 2007 and September 30, 2007. It was directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, written by veteran playwright Kazuki Nakashima and had been in development since the participation of the famed animator in the Abenobashi mecha themed episodes by the same studio. The anime won several awards at the Tokyo International Anime Fair and the Animation Kobe and Japan Media Arts Festivals. Gurren Lagann takes place in a fictional future where Earth is ruled by the Spiral King, Lordgenome, who forces mankind to live in isolated subterranean villages that have no contact with the surface world or other villages. These villages are under constant threat of earthquakes, so select villagers called diggers are relegated to expand their homes deeper underground. Simon, a meek young digger who is ostracized by his peers, finds solace in his best friend and older brother figure, an eccentric delinquent named Kamina, who allows Simon to join his gang, Team Gurren, to help him achieve his dream of visiting the surface world. One day, Simon unearths a drill-shaped key called a Core Drill, followed by a small mecha resembling a face called a Gunman. Shortly thereafter, a giant Gunman crashes through the ceiling and begins attacking the village, followed by a girl named Yoko who attempts to repel the Gunman. Simon uses his Core Drill to activate the smaller Gunman, which Kamina names Lagann and is used to destroy the larger Gunman and break through to the surface world.
