First Appearance WarioWare Gold (2018) (Only Appearance)

Wario Deluxe is a transformation attained by Wario after putting the Pot of Luxeville on his head, granting him special powers. Lulu, who is known as the “hero of Luxeville”, later takes it back and then reveals it is a mere “potty”. He is the final antagonist of WarioWare Gold.

In the middle of the final stage, Lulu pops most of his balloons and grabs onto the pot, and is seen wrestling Wario for the rest of the level.

Appearance[]

Wario Deluxe has a complete appearance change to his non-corrupted form. He wears the Pot of Luxeville on his head, which also has a red W on it. He also now wears a yellow tuxedo with a red tie, while also wearing no gloves. Additionally, Wario Deluxe's eyes are red. It is unknown why this happened, but it might have been because of the corruption Wario gained from the Pot of Luxeville.

Personality[]

Unlike regular Wario, who is greedy and wants money, Wario Deluxe is depicted as a diabolical supervillain whose main goal is world domination, as well as trying to stay number 1. He also speaks in a deeper voice unlike his base form.

Abilities[]

Wario Deluxe shows many new abilities not possessed by Wario in his base form, like electrokinesis, the ability to conjure thunderstorms and shroud Diamond City in darkness, and the power to "stutter" time, causing it to switch between flowing normally and speeding up.

However, his character card suggests that Wario Deluxe is not stronger than base Wario, implying his physicality may remain the same in this form.

Trivia[]

  • He appears to be WarioWare Gold's stand in for Wario-Man, as the aforementioned character doesn't appear at all in the game.
